Khao Lak Accessible Resort received the prestigious Wheelchair Friendly Resort Award in 2009 for the amenities and outstanding service that it provides for it’s disabled guests.
We have 10 wheelchair accessible rooms that would suit the fussiest of guests. Our rooms are extremely large and easy to navigate with plenty of space for a transfer hoist (if required) and each room has a fully equipped disabled bathroom with hand rails for toilet and shower along with a fixed shower seat. We also can supply a mobile shower commode (if required).

The rooms even have there own private garden balcony for those cool drinks after spending the afternoon in our refreshing pool which is accessible for wheelchair users.
The swimming pool overlooks our own private beach which you can explore using our floating beach wheelchair as the water is beautiful and warm all year round. Whether it’s a quite drink on the beach with friends or enjoying a meal in one of our beautiful restaurants know that Khao Lak Accessible Resort can cater for your every need.
We also have a wheelchair accessible bathroom for disabled guests in the public, pool and restaurant areas.

I personally would like to thank Sarun and his Family for providing an exceptional accommodation experience for people with disabilities or limited mobility.
There are only very few people in the world that provide genuine and specialty designed accommodation for disabled people who truly want to holiday like everyone else. l have seen a lot of disabled accommodation throughout Australia and here in Thailand and Sarun has excelled with his resort. Every conceivable area is accessible, the restaurants, the pool, the list keeps going on and he also provides Wheelchair Accessible Transportation from the time you leave your plane all the way through your holiday experience in Khao Lak.
